About the Shed
Like many Freelance Copywriters, I have worked across a wide range of industries (see Links) but now find myself working mostly (but certainly not exclusively) with other business support services – such as training companies, event organisers and accountants.
In 25 years as a Secretary/Personal Assistant, I have written all kinds of marketing and promotional material (press releases, job descriptions, recruitment ads, sales letters). I have also contributed ideas and articles to various publications and used my admin experience to plan, organise and manage a range of business writing projects.
I started my Freelance Secretarial business in April 2000, specialising in working with small- and medium-sized local firms – from new start-ups to long-established companies.
Building on this, in 2008 I took the short step to set up In the Shed Copywriting, continuing to help local businesses with their newsletters, websites, press releases and articles.
